A pair of long, baggy jorts made from 14oz Japanese selvedge denim.
The 14oz denim has a good weight to it and gives the shorts a solid, structured shape. Each pair is washed after sewing, which softens the denim and reduces further shrinkage.
The hems are finished with chain stitching, which creates the roping effect you often see on well-worn jeans.
The fit is wide and relaxed, with a clean fit around the waist and a length that sits below the knee.
Each pair is designed, patterned, cut and sewn by me in Japan. I also choose the denim, thread and other materials myself, and make each pair in small quantities.
